Star Fantasy Football Player Considered Week-To-Week With Carpal Tunnel

Sacramento, CA – Gazette sources confirmed fantasy football star Jacob Blackmon is now week-to-week with what his physician has diagnosed as carpal tunnel. This could prove to be a brutal blow to the 11-2 fantasy team.

“I had been aggressively researching players, tinkering with my lineup, scouring waivers, and proposing trades all season. I guess it just caught up to me,” said a somber Blackmon. “I’m going to have to take it day by day and try to heal in time for the championship.”

The news is an unwelcome one as Blackmon rosters Colts star Jonathan Taylor, who is on a bye week.

“I need to pick up a flex option from the waivers, but my hand hurts too much. I’m worried about a potential early playoff exit if I can’t come back in time.”

Jacob’s wife, Ashley, said the recovery is going to come with a snap count and plenty of rest.

“We’ll have to get him back sparingly,” she said. “No phone or computer time for a week, and then maybe work him back in with some light scrolling. It’s going to take time, but if we do it right he will be healthy for Week 17.”

At press time, Justin was unsuccessfully trying to use Siri to open up the ESPN Fantasy app and add Raiders WR Bryan Edwards off waivers.
