AWESOME: Josh Allen Helps Fan’s Fantasy Football Team Out By Dropping Stefon Diggs
CALIFORNIA – Buffalo Bills star QB Josh Allen was walking near fans at a recent golf tournament when a fan reached out his phone asking for Allen to complete a fantasy football move for him. Allen was supposed to press accept on a deal that would land the player Allen himself and Trubisky in exchange for Patrick Mahomes, but Allen saw a greater opportunity.
After pressing accept, Allen quickly navigated to the team’s roster on the app Sleeper, where he located Texans WR Stefon Diggs and promptly dropped him into free agency. Diggs famously caused drama over the years in Buffalo and became a Houston Texan this offseason. Allen clearly saw a chance to both bet on himself for this player’s fantasy football team in more ways than one.
“Addition by subtraction, I suppose,” said Allen. “I bet the Bills will be better this year without [Stefon] Diggs, and so will Josh’s Junkies. That’s his new team name, by the way. Couldn’t let him keep acting like My Ball Zach Ertz wasn’t ran into the ground 7 years ago.”
At press time, Allen revealed he helped more fans out with their teams at the event by trading Diggs to the worst team in the league for absolutely nothing in return.
