Local Fantasy Player Reluctantly Drafts Derrick Henry With Final Pick In PPR League

Tallahassee, FL – With the very last pick in his home full-point PPR league, a local fantasy player sighed deeply before selecting Titans RB Derrick Henry, sources confirmed.

The mammoth RB has been a fantasy stud the past two years, but doesn’t really catch passes – making him completely irrelevant for PPR leagues. The brave, daring soul chose Henry over pass catching backs like Gio Bernard, J.D. McKissic, and Ke’Shawn Vaughn. It’s a bold strategy to take Henry at all considering he just doesn’t catch passes, but even then we’re wondering why take Henry at all in PPR?

For those unfamiliar, PPR (points per reception) leagues means players who don’t catch passes should be completely ignored all the time and never drafted no matter what. Derrick Henry might as well just be a taller Damien Harris. We’re staying away at all costs, but kudos to this man for having the guts to go with the Titans RB.

At press time, Henry had been dropped in favor of pass-catching aficionado Tarik Cohen.
