Man Who Was Wrong About Travis Kelce Being Too Old When Tight End Was 30, 31, 32, and 33 Confident He Will Fall Off At Age 34

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Local man and avid fantasy football player Ethan Cassidy recently told friends that he would be fading Travis Kelce this year for fantasy football purposes. He noted that the tight end, who he believed was a bad draft pick for each of the last four seasons due to his age, would be a bad draft pick this season due to his age.

“I did my homework on NFL players aging out of their primes, and I concluded that Travis Kelce was a bad draft pick back when he was 30. I was wrong, but he was an outlier. Then I thought he was too old when he was 31, and again he got lucky as an outlier. Despite me being wrong when he was 32 and subsequently 33, I’m pretty confident he’s going to tumble off the age cliff this year clumsier than a baby giraffe going down a waterslide,” Cassidy said.

Cassidy went on to tell his friends at their weekly outing to Top Golf that age 34 historically represents a devastating year for Tight Ends that are significantly worse at football than Kelce. He mentioned that TEs like Marcedes Lewis and Jared Cook failed to put up over 1,300 receiving yards when they were 34, meaning Kelce’s odds to do it yet again are slim to none.

The fantasy player had also faded Tom Brady due to age concerns when the QB was 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, and 45. He has won zero championships and mentioned his favorite format of play was dynasty, where his team of Trey Lance, Zach Wilson, Breece Hall, Alexander Mattison, Cam Akers, Treylon Burks, Laviska Shenault, Elijah Moore, Darnell Mooney, Drake London, and Kyle Pitts went 0-14 last season.
